Choose from Delicatessen Events's extensive range of entertainers and performers to suit every taste and every event.
A good choice of entertainers will give your event the added edge to make it stand out and be remembered. At Delicatessen Events we believe we can find the right kind of entertainers and performers to perfectly compliment any event. We understand that not everyone has the same opinion about what makes a good event. Therefore we ensure we can cater for a huge range of music, entertainer and performer styles. We have examples of some of those below, but just because it's not on the list doesn't mean we can't arrange it. Please contact us to discuss further options.
Musical entertainment
- Bands - We have many bands on our books covering a broad range of styles and playing covers, originals tracks or a mix of both. Example band styles include Jazz, Chart, Tribute, Blues, Soul, Funk, Indie/Rock, Latin and Reggae.
- DJ's - Choose your music style and let our DJ keep the dance floor happy. Music to suit all tastes. DJ's can provide music all night or combined with a band or other entertainer.
- Other musical entertainers - Solo artists and tribute acts. e.g. Sinatra, Elvis, Prince, Robbie Williams, more...
- The real artist - Why get a tribute when you can really impress your guests and book the real thing! It may cost a bit more, but tell us who you want and we can enquire about
their availability and price for a live performance.
Other popular entertainers & performers
- Magicians - Always popular entertainment at our events. Excellent for interacting with small groups during arrival or moving around the tables at events with a seated meal. Magicians can perform close up magic, card tricks and are often also very good comedians. A great way to loosen up your guests and get them laughing and talking in the early part of your event.
- Caricaturists - Will work over the course of the night drawing cartoon and caricature representations of event guests or famous personalities. Each one takes 10 to 30 minutes depending on detail required and can be of individuals or groups.
- Balloon Modellers - Not just for childrens parties! But maybe more for those guests still young at heart! Keeps the atmosphere fresh and happy and entertains young and old alike. Far more than just dogs and giraffes!
Further entertainer options
- After dinner speakers - If you prefer something more relaxed, funny, interesting or informative during your event you may like to consider booking an after dinner speaker. With speakers tailored to your event you can choose from many different styles or opt for a celebrity (TV, sporting, business, etc) speaking appearance.
- Photographers - Many of your guests will want to commemorate the event with a beautiful photo. Our photographers can take photos as your guests arrive looking at their best and have photos ready to buy (no obligation) in frames before leaving. Photos can also be taken with a backdrop during the event for those who prefer this method.
Something a bit different
- Jugglers - Amazing standard and interactive with the guests. Great on the dancefloor juggling glow balls.
- Acrobalance - Visual theatre and tumbling at it's best. Stage show or interactive (photo above).
- Fire performers - Outdoor or venue permitting (photo top).
- Poi and staff twirlers - Unusual and exciting (photo left).
- Stilt walkers - In costume. e.g. Unicorn, elephant, etc.
- Strange Caberet acts - Sword swallowing, angle grinding, escapology, lifto, bed of nails, knife throwing.
- Dancers - Choreographed, Break dancers, Cheer leaders, belly dancers, burlesque.
- Other acts - Live graffiti, clowns, hand standers, more...
